The BYD Leopard 5 2026 – Grey / Green is a new SUV with a hybrid powertrain.
The hybrid powertrain combines a combustion engine with electric drive in one vehicle, working alongside the transmission and drive system fitted to this particular version. A battery stores energy for the electric part of the drivetrain; the contribution of the combustion engine and electric drive depends on the system’s design and driving conditions.
Exterior design: Grey paint. Squared SUV body, dark alloy wheels, roof rails and an external spare wheel on the rear door.
Cabin and passenger equipment: Light Green cabin, with Brown accents, front and rear seating, an armrest and rear air vents. Glass roof. The rear ventilation equipment serves the rear passenger area as part of the cabin’s airflow layout.
Technology and controls: Central display, separate front passenger display, digital instruments, multifunction steering wheel and console controls. The multifunction steering wheel places its controls within the driver’s reach from the driving position.
